Many people find time to exercise throughout the week. Some even draw up a workout schedule to target different parts of the body. However, the face is often overlooked.
"Working out" your face counteracts signs of ageing such as sagging and wrinkles, increasing the tautness and fullness of your skin. It does this by promoting blood circulation, training your muscles throughout the various dermal layers, and stimulating the production of collagen.
Just a few minutes of these exercises a day can have a visible impact on how you look - even better, there's no need to go to the gym to perform these exercises!
1. Cheeks
Perform a full grin, baring your teeth and stretching your cheeks as far out as you can
Jut your lips out like a fish (i.e. an O shape)
Repeat the exercise a few times
2. Neck
Tilt up your head
Push your tongue up to the roof of your mouth and hold for 10 seconds
Relax
Repeat twice more
3. Forehead
Gently place your fingers on your forehead
Slowly draw your fingers towards the sides of your head
Repeat a few times
